Security overview coverage view
GitHub’s security overview now shows whether AI Scan for pull requests is enabled. This visibility helps organization and enterprise administrators track adoption and manage enablement across their organization or enterprise.
The coverage view reports AI Scan status at both summary and repository levels. Administrators can therefore review overall repository counts and see the effective enablement status for each repository.
Code scanning summary
The code scanning summary separates repositories into enabled and not enabled counts. These totals provide an organization- or enterprise-level view of how broadly AI Scan for pull requests has been enabled.
Repository rows add more detail by showing each repository’s effective AI Scan enablement. Together, the summary and repository rows allow administrators to compare aggregate adoption with repository-specific status in the same coverage view.
Filter the coverage view
Administrators can filter the coverage view by AI Scan for pull requests status. The filter code-scanning-ai-scan-pr-scan:enabled limits the view to repositories where the feature is enabled.
The corresponding code-scanning-ai-scan-pr-scan:not-enabled filter shows repositories where it is not enabled. These filters make it possible to focus the coverage view on either enablement state when assessing adoption or managing enablement.
Coverage CSV exports
Coverage CSV exports now include a Code Scanning AI Scan for pull requests column. The column uses enabled and not-enabled values to represent the status included in the export.
This extends the same enablement visibility beyond the on-screen summary, repository rows, and filters. Administrators can use the exported column to review AI Scan for pull requests status across repositories in an organization or enterprise. GitHub also points administrators to information about assessing adoption of security features and to the AI Scan Community discussion.
