アプリ内で開始したセッションは、開いている間、サイドバーで強調表示されるようになった。これまでは履歴から再度開いたセッションだけが対象だった。また、自分自身が送ったメッセージによって、そのセッションが未読扱いになることもなくなった。
Customize → Connectorsは、Skills、Plugins、MCPの各タブに合わせた構成となり、検索機能と更新ボタンが追加された。
Cloud sessions
Cline Desktop v0.0.41 expands model selection for Cloud sessions and improves how unfinished work and open sessions are handled. The changes are intended to make it easier to continue working across multiple sessions without losing an unsent prompt or misreading sidebar state.
Cloud sessions can now use the same models as Cline on the web. The model picker lists Cline Usage-Billing, ClinePass, and ClineFree models instead of listing only Cline. Organization accounts do not receive access to ClinePass.
A new Cloud session also waits for a model to be ready before sending. If the model list fails to load, the user can retry rather than proceeding without the list.
Unfinished draft
An unsent prompt is no longer lost when the user switches to another session and then returns. This preserves unfinished input while moving between sessions.
The New control in the sidebar returns to the unfinished draft. That behavior is distinct from the Cmd/Ctrl+N shortcut, which continues to start a fresh session. Together, these controls separate resuming an existing draft from deliberately opening a new session.
Sidebar while open
Sessions started in the app are now highlighted in the sidebar while they remain open. Previously, this highlighting applied only to sessions that had been reopened from history.
Sessions also no longer mark themselves as unread because of their own messages. The sidebar therefore distinguishes open sessions without adding an unread state generated by activity from the same session.
Customize Connectors
Customize → Connectors now follows the presentation used by the Skills, Plugins, and MCP tabs. It includes search and a refresh button, bringing its controls into line with those other tabs.
