New /compact slash command
Cline Desktop v0.0.42 adds a new /compact slash command and changes how connectors are presented in Customize. The release focuses on freeing up conversation context and making connectors easier to find, search, and understand.
The /compact command summarizes the conversation so far to free up context. The summary uses the provider settings from the current session. It is not sent to the model as a prompt.

Connectors in Customize

Connector access notices
When connectors are not available, the Connectors tab now explains why. Users who are signed out see a sign-in card.
If an account does not yet have beta access because of the rollout, the tab instead shows a rollout notice. That notice includes a Check again option.
